Buckle your swash, grab your sword and transport yourself to Brazil for Robinson Crusoe & the Pirates. Written by Alan P Frayn and produced by Marcia Spiers & Sandy Worsfold the WADS annual pantomime will take place towards the end of January.
Set in the Port of Rio de Janeiro (as opposed to Plymouth or Hull!), you’ll meet a host of colourful characters along the way, together with a band of marauding pirates lead by Captain Cut-Throat. Full of swashbuckling action, damsels in distress, desert island cannibals and plenty of songs to sing along to, our characters embark on a journey of madness and mayhem from the plantations of Brazil to the depths of the ocean, on to a desert island and finally back to Brazil in time for Mardi Gras.
