WADS Autumn Production- Angels of Death. Another enjoyable murder mystery; newly written by WADS member Karen Foster, which kept everyone in suspense each evening. The cast kept us guessing and played their parts to the full, remaining in character while they were grilled for clues as to who the murderer was.
A fine supper was provided, as always, by the singing waiters and waitresses, who worked extremely hard keeping everyone fed and watered throughout the evening. Not to forget the sterling work done by the back stage crew and front of house teams.
The play was ably produced by Chris Chant and Gill Murray who marshalled their troops to give a fine performance. Well done to WADS for yet another entertaining evening in this very pleasant format.
Tucked away in a quiet corner of rural England lies Angel’s Repose; advertised as a perfect retreat centre specialising in New Age spirituality and holistic therapies – a place of calm, a place to unwind, recharge batteries and find oneself. Then by chance the owner and a first-time visitor find they have more in common than an interest in health and well being. As events from the past overshadow the present, many people’s lives are turned upside down and emotions run high. But who would resort to murder?
Witness the crime, examine the evidence, interrogate the suspects and reveal the murderer!
